Chor-Bakr Necropolis

Located 5 km west of Bukhara, this 16th-century “city of four brothers” is a complex of mausoleums belonging to the Juybari family of sayyids, made up of more than 30 buildings, a mosque and a minaret. Few tourists come here, so it has kept a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. Walking through its tree-shaded courtyards feels like travelling back in time.
