Sanganak: Autumn Walk in the Chatkal Reserve

A one-day trip from Tashkent to the Sanganak eco-zone in the Chatkal Reserve with a pine forest walk and tea in the mountains.
A new autumn route through the Chatkal Reserve with coniferous forest, mountain trails and scenic views. The group walks about 2 km along a mountain path to the gates of the Sanganak eco-zone, then settles on traditional tapchans for mountain tea and sweets.
After the tea there is free time until the afternoon to relax, have a small picnic and take photos. Optional extras include a climb to a viewpoint and a circular walk of about 5 km. The whole walking route is roughly 4 to 6 km, so it suits most people in ordinary physical shape.
The entrance to the eco-zone costs 22,000 UZS per person, including a place on a tapchan, and is paid on site. Depending on group size, a minivan may replace the bus. The Chatkal Reserve is one of the best-known protected mountain areas near Tashkent.
