On October 24, 2026, the multimedia exhibition “Savitsky’s Diaries: Old and New” opens at Tashkent City Mall. It is dedicated to the life, work and artistic legacy of Igor Savitsky, an outstanding artist, collector and founder of the I. V. Savitsky State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in Nukus.

The exhibition invites visitors to discover Savitsky’s unique artistic world, his creative search and his determination to preserve works of art that became an important part of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage. The exposition brings together past and present, revealing the connection between historical context, artistic traditions and the modern perception of art.

“Savitsky’s Diaries: Old and New” is a multimedia project that lets visitors immerse themselves in the history of art through visual storytelling and artistic imagery. The exhibition traces Igor Savitsky’s creative path, tells more about his work and introduces artworks that reflect the diversity of artistic movements and eras.

The project reveals the significance of Igor Savitsky’s legacy for the culture of Uzbekistan and for the international art community.
