The Ilkhom Theatre presents the play "A Dog's Heart" based on Mikhail Bulgakov's novella.

The story of how Professor Preobrazhensky turns the dog Sharik into Poligraf Poligrafovich Sharikov becomes, in Ilkhom's staging, a conversation about violence against the individual and about how a person loses their own individuality. Here, chloroform is replaced by television, advertising and the internet, which shape desires and habits on a person's behalf.
