Based on a work by Said Ahmad and the film novella "Qorako'z Majnun" by Sharof Boshbekov (director: S. Meliev), the play "Vafodor" ("The Faithful") centers on love for the homeland and the longing between mother and child. We see the mother's love for her children and the children's sharp opposition to their mother. The lonely mother gives her affection to a dog nicknamed "Qora ko'z" ("Black Eye"). To the mother who gave love to her children but found none in return, her dog "Qora ko'z" proves faithful and loving.
