Samarkand: Two-Day Bus Tour with Hotel Stay

A two-day coach trip from Tashkent to Samarkand with a hotel night, a pool and a tour of the city's main monuments.

A two-day coach tour from Tashkent to Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. The group leaves early in the morning, visits the Imam al-Bukhari complex, has lunch on the way, and checks in to a hotel in the city centre with a terrace overlooking the Registan and a swimming pool.

The first day continues with the Samarkand paper factory, the Registan, the Gur-Emir mausoleum of Amir Temur and an evening walk through the Eternal City. On the second day the group visits Bibi-Khanym, Shah-i-Zinda, Hazrat Khizr, Khoja Doniyor and the Ulugbek Observatory, has a Samarkand plov lunch and drives back, arriving in Tashkent at about 23:00.

The price is 890,000 UZS per person with twin-share accommodation. Entrance tickets are paid separately: about 60,000-70,000 UZS for Uzbek residents in total. Non-residents pay a hotel tourist fee of 62,000 UZS when booking, and about 460,000 UZS for tickets at the ticket offices. If the group is small, the trip runs by a comfortable minibus. Times are approximate and the order of sights may change.
