The Nadir Devonbegi Madrasah was built in 1630-1635 by Nadir Mirzo Tagai Sultan, the devonbegi of the Bukhara Khanate. The reason the madrasah was built at this very address is that the khanqahs of Khoja Ahrori Vali were located in its vicinity.
When working on the design of the Nadir Devonbegi Madrasah, the appearance of the Sherdor Madrasah on Registan Square was used as a favorable model. The madrasah is one-story and built in a luxurious four-iwan style. The madrasah consists of 3 parts: a classroom, a dormitory, and a room for servants.
On the portal of the madrasah there are inscriptions indicating the time construction began, and the ornamental decorations are examples of the work of Master Khoja Hoshim and the engineer-builder Dostmuhammad.
The Nadir Devonbegi Madrasah was added to the list of historical monuments in 1986.
