Chashma Ayub Mausoleum
Pilgrimage / Museum · Bukhara

The name means “Job's Spring”: legend has it that a spring gushed forth where the prophet Job struck the ground with his staff, and it still flows today. The building stands out for its conical Khorezm-style roof and was built in stages between the 12th and 14th centuries. Inside is a small museum devoted to the history of water supply. It lies close to Samanids Park, so it is often visited together with the Samanid Mausoleum.
