Chor Minor
Gatehouse · Bukhara

Built in 1807 on the commission of a wealthy Turkmen merchant, this small gatehouse has four distinctive towers with blue domes; each tower is decorated differently, and legends say they represent different religions. It lies a little away from the main tourist centre in narrow neighbourhood lanes, where you can glimpse Bukhara's everyday life along the way. You can climb onto the roof to look out over the surrounding neighbourhood rooftops.
