Khoja Nasreddin Statue

In the Lyabi-Hauz garden stands a statue of the famous folk hero Khoja Nasreddin, quick-witted and full of jokes, seated on his donkey. It is a favourite photo spot for children and adults alike, with plenty of cafés and market stalls around. The “funny face” of Bukhara, it makes a light-hearted stop for a break after the weighty historic monuments.
