The square around a pool built in 1620 is the “heart” of Bukhara and its liveliest social hub. It is surrounded by mulberry trees, teahouses, and the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah and khanaqah. In the evening locals and visitors relax here over tea and music. Historic buildings by day, a lively atmosphere by night: a place worth coming back to several times a day.
